Alex English has been in the fitness industry for just shy of 10 years. From personal training to owning and operating his own training gym he has lived and breathed fitness. He even has some martial arts experience as well training off and on for the last couple of years in Jiu Jitsu, Boxing and Kickboxing and even for a while under the instruction of Marcus Reaves. Having graduated with a Business-Communication Degree from Pepperdine University with a Sports Medicine emphasis he has an extensive fitness and business knowledge base. Although He has pursued ambitions in other industries Alex has always returned back to fitness because he "truly loves changing lives through fitness and exercise." |

Marcus "Cheetah" Reaves has 34 years of Martial Arts experience; including concentrations in Boxing, Kickboxing, and Shaolin Kung-Fu. During his fight career, he attained the following titles: Kyokoshinkai Second in the Nation Bare-Knuckle Full-Contact, AAU North Pacific Kickboxing Champion, AAU South Pacific Kickboxing Champion, and AAU U.S. Kickboxing Champion. |

Josh Bettencourt has been training under Marcus Reaves for over six years. His earliest martial arts training was in Kung Fu, beginning in 2002. He has extensive knowledge in fitness and nutrition. He is a Certified Personal Trainer, and has the ability to specialize in weight loss and maintenance, as well as nutrition and dietetic advising. He graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science from California State University at Sacramento (CSUS) in the Spring of 2008 (with honors) along with a Nutrition Foods major. Josh continues his studies as a Grad Student at CSUS, pursuing a Masters degree in Exercise Science. |

Anthony "Goldie" Charnell's boxing journey started 16 years ago in Rapid City, South Dakota. He was a part of a great team that included a Silver Gloves National Champion and other nationally ranked fighters. This helped him do extremely well as an amateur, traveling across the United States doing what he loves - Boxing. When he returned to Sacramento, he met a great trainer and great man named Herman Carter. Together, Anthony and Herman are still perfecting Anthony's fighting skills and techniques to ensure Anthony reaches his goal -- to become one of "The Greats." Anthony's professional boxing career includes a record of 6-4-1 with 5 KO's, and he continues to actively fight. He describes his style as a "boxer-puncher." She has experience in providing group and one-on-one training for both boxing and boxing fitness and is regularly recognized for her ability to customize her training methods to meet each individual's goals and needs. Angie has been an amateur boxer for eleven years and incorporates her ring experience into her training methods, teaching students and boxers effective boxing technique. She trained under Mateen Saifudeen at Mateen’s Boxing Gym in Sacramento, California. |

He competed in Olympic style Tae Kwon Do from 1998 to 1992, as well as U.S. team trials in 1989 and 1994. From 1989 to 1992, Ted fought and competed in International Chinese kickboxing and holds two gold and one bronze medals. He holds a 1st degree black belt in Chi Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do, instructor level Wing Chun Gong Fu, and instructor level Tibetan martial arts. In addition, he holds instructor level muay mei mai, muay chai ya, and muay Burmese. Ted is also well-versed in Filipino and military combatives, edge, impact and ballistic weaponry. |

Also, training in various Martial Arts such as: Karate, Judo, Kali / JKD, Dumog, Harimaw Buno, Sarada Escrima, Wing Chun, Tai Chi, Boxing / Thai Boxing, Capoeira and Kickboxing. As a high school student, he now plays basketball year-round. He has coached 3 to 13 year olds in basketball. Marc hopes to attend college on a sports scholarship. He sees working as an Assistant General Manager at LA Boxing as a way to increase his knowledge of fitness and martial arts and to improve his communications and human relations skills. |
