General Manager Responsibilities:
- Represent the face and image of the club
- Meeting monthly sales goals in new membership , private training, and merchandise sales set forth by the corporate office
- Directs all operations, staffing, and marketing aspects of the club
- Schedule appointments for prospective members to come and try classes
- Hire, train, and develop sales team
- Coordinate marketing, promotional, and special events with club owner
- Ensure all prospecting systems are in full operation
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the club as set forth in your Operations Manual
- Ensure the quality of the product
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of fitness sales management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership ability
- Demonstrate the ability to develop a team
- Outgoing personality
- In depth knowledge of the fitness industry, especially boxing, kickboxing and mixed martial arts training
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
Assistant General Manager Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager in the day to day operations of the club
- Meet monthly sales goals in new membership, private training, and merchandise sales set forth by the club owner and GM
- Ensure all prospecting systems are in full operation
- Schedule appointments for prospective members to come and try classes
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the club during designated shifts
Qualifications
- 3 to 6 months fitness sales experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outgoing personality
- In depth knowledge of the fitness industry, especially boxing, kickboxing and mixed martial arts
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
Instructor Responsibilities
- LA Boxing is a fast growing franchise fitness corporation seeking Instructors Nationwide.
To succeed with us in this position, you will need a background in one or more of the following disciplines: Boxing, Kick-boxing, MMA, or Jiu-Jitsu. You must be a person of high integrity.
The instructor should currently possess exceptional organizational skills with the ability to be a self starter, the capacity to work with a team as well as independently is critical. They should be competent at multi-tasking effectively.
The Instructor’s primary responsibility for their location includes, but is not limited to instructing our members who poses a cross-section of skill levels from entry-level to expert, both male and female. There may also be an opportunity to you to work with corresponding children’s classes.
The classes are one hour long, high energy, high intensity cardio blasts incorporating varying combination strikes with hands and/or feet against a 150 lb suspended heavy heavy-bag, in addition to cardio warms ups, floor exercises and stretching.
As an LA Boxing team member, you will be expected to do the following, including but not limited to:
- Pass a certification class
- Demonstrate the ability to confidently lead a class through a structured agenda
- Work with members on a one-on-one basis during a class, which will include verbalizing commands, holding hand-pads, coaching members regarding their technique and ensuring members do not hurt themselves during class.
- Offering and selling personal training
- Perform general location sanitation and maintenance
- Provide professional customer service
- Ensure adherence to the standard operating procedure as set forth in your corporate Instructor Training.
