Play it Loud
At LA Boxing we play it loud for a reason. The workout at your LA Boxing gym should be fun, fast-paced and loud! Why loud, you ask? The music sets a mood… a vibe, if you will.
When I’m teaching a class, I got my favorite tunes blaring and I have to yell over the music as I teach a class.
The vibe is incredible, it’s like a big party with punches, kicks, push ups sit ups and sweat!
The music is something unique to what we do as martial arts instructors. I grew up calling my training instructors “Sir” or by their surname, there was no music during my classes. After training sessions, I would go home and put music on while I experimented with my skills on my dad’s old heavy bag, listening to heavy metal, punk, rap or what ever the flavor of the time was. Years later when I started LA Boxing, I decided to take the “Yes, Sir” “No, Sir” out and crank music up! And it worked.
We currently have 94 LA Boxing franchises sold nation wide and in Puerto Rico. We have been imitated by many, duplicated by none. We are the top boxing, kick boxing, and MMA fitness franchise gym in the world. Let the music at LA Boxing give you an escape, or distraction from your daily grind, and get the best workout you can! Good music and great training go hand in hand. Let the music and our great instructors give you a knock out workout!!

Trainers at LA BOXING are some of the best in the business. When looking for an LA boxing instructor I do my best to find the cream of the crop. Yes, I am talking about you!
Remember when you were coming up in the boxing gym or dojo. Your instructors were your heroes and in a lot of cases remain heroes. They are the people who led you down the path to where you are today. You owe them a thank you for the success you have today!
Now here is the opportunity to be a positive influence on your students at LA BOXING. This is a great and rewarding thing to be! So, don't forget to pay a little extra attention to your students. Here are four easy tips that can help:
1. Try to remember your students' names. Use it when you talk to them and it will help build a relationship. Or, if you are like me and are bad with names, give that person a nickname. It's fun for you and them, and sticks!
2. Always look for the students that need a little extra attention and give it to them! This can also score you a private lesson or better yet, a package of P-T.
3. Change it up a bit. Don't teach the same thing day in, and day out. Example: teach a spin kick, self defense, or just add new stretches and ab workouts. Keep things new and fresh.
4. You must train! Stay in the shape you are in, and lead by example. Take classes from others. Keep your mind open and always try new things as it will make you a better teacher.
It is an honor to know and work with all of you. I am humbled by the success LA BOXING has become. I owe all of you a great deal of gratitude. My door is always open to you for anything you need, so please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you for your help in making LA BOXING the great success it is today!
